Do you WFH? Then you probably know that it doesn’t always make for optimal productivity. Here’s how to structure your day to get the most out of it.

TIP #1: Wear a power ‘fit

No matter how comfy your pyjamas are, it’s been proven that getting dressed and ready as if you were going to the office can help put you into work mode.

TIP #2: Have a workspace

While it can be tempting to work from bed on occasion, it’s crucial to have a dedicated and functional workspace that is separate from where you sleep.

TIP #3: Keep things organised

Have a diary that keeps track of all your deadlines and your to-do list to keep you on track. Also, keep your desk area neat and tidy and free of any distractions.

TIP #4: Limit after-hours work

There’s a reason many work shifts are eight hours – we need the downtime to recuperate! This means you should resist the urge to work overtime too often. 

TIP #5: Take proper breaks

Just because you’re at home doesn’t mean you shouldn’t take regular breaks! They are important as they give your brain a break so that it can better refocus.
