But sometimes, all it takes is some wisdom from formidable women who are slaying their career game in the form of quick but insightful TED Talks. Here are five to Google and listen to for the dose of inspiration and motivation you need.

This talk has garnered over 11 million views. In it, the COO of Facebook discusses why fewer women occupy top positions in their professions. She also gives three powerful pieces of advice to women who want to climb the corporate ladder and are aiming for the C-suite.

Yes, you recognise the name as this talk is by the author of the best-selling book, Eat, Pray, Love. In this talk – which has accumulated millions of views – she discusses the ways in which we can tap into their creative side and is one that all people in the creative fields should listen to.
